5:00 - 7:30 p.m. (Choirs begin at 5:30 p.m.)
Dow Gardens

1809 Eastman Avenue
Midland, MI 48640

Enjoy an old-fashioned stroll on garden pathways lined with luminaries. Listen to local choirs and carolers share the sounds of the season. See illuminated trees and bridges. You can also meet live reindeer on Thursday and Friday nights! Be sure to walk through the Conservatory and see the dazzling poinsettia tree and festive display. There is no admission charge for these special evenings; they are truly a gift to the community.
The Dow Gardens were started in 1899 by Herbert Dow, founder of The Dow Chemical Company. The Gardens, originally developed on eight acres of flat, sandy land, provided a creative outlet for Herbert Dow’ and his interest in agriculture and design. He created gardens, ponds and hills according to a simple philosophy that we still follow to this day: “never reveal the gardens’ whole beauty at first glance.”
