Looking for some chilly fun this weekend? The snow came just in time for the Motown Winter Blast this year. The Motown Winter Blast started Friday and runs thru Sunday February 12th.  With tons of fun winter events that are centered on Campus Martius Park, it's cheap fun for the whole family. Admissions is just a $1 or donate a canned food item or a book for a day full of chilly fun.

This year visitors to the Motown Winter Blast can enjoy FREE ice skating in Campus Martius Park, skates are available for $3; Get Fit and try out Free Snowshoeing; enjoy the Greektown Casino Ice Garden; Marshmallow Roasting is always a toasty treat, Purchase a marshmallow or s'more kit and huddle around the fire; watch Skating Demonstrations, and the Dog Sleds.

There's plenty of fun for kids at Motown Winter Blast too with a Winter Carnival, a variety of shows featuring puppeteers, Jo-Jo Fish and Billy Goats Gruff, Magic performances from Pure Imagination Magic Show and Cool Tricks & Funny Stuff, plus Radio Disney will be hosting fun science themed games and giving away.
