The Weekend Round-Up 27 & 28
This is it, Thanksgiving week! Hopefully you have everything planned for dinner and have started your cooking day prep. House cleaning is a must on the agenda, but with two little tornados following me through the house, it's usually something I save untill the night before to do while they are in bed. The holidays are so nice for spending time with the family and the weekend after for resting after all the excitment but, theres always something fun to do. Here's what's happening this weekend.
Michael's Handmade Holiday
Take the kids up to Michael's for a personalized ornament. Saturday November 27th, from 10a to 12 noon create your own handcrafted holiday decorations. Just purchase the ornament needed and supplies are provided. You could give them as gifts or keep them to decorated your tree.
Lakeshore Learning Free Crafts for Kids
Every Saturday from 11am to 3pm Lakeshore Learning stores have free crafts fro kids. Come in this Saturday with your child to make an Autumn tree. These cool collage trees are covered in glitter leaves.
Paradeland
If you couldn't make it to the America's Thanksgiving Parade but would love to get a behinds the scenes tour of the studio and see the floats up close than you should check out Paradeland on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 10:00am - 6:00pm.
