Today is Veterans Day and many businesses showing their appreciation and saying Thank You to Veterans by offering free or discounted deals. There are many store discounts available to Veterans so be sure to ask! Here are a few special things just for Veterans today.

The Detroit Zoo has Free admission for active and retired military personnel with ID on Veteran's Day, Thursday, November 11.

At Applebees all Veterans ad Active duty military eat free on Veterans Day, November 11th!

Outback Steakhouse’s appreciation to our Country’s veterans and active duty military*, a free Bloomin’ Onion and Coca-Cola will be available to them at every Outback in the country on Veterans Day, November 11th.

Chili’s – free meal, Thursday, Nov. 11. Chili’s is offering all military veterans past and present their choice of meal. This offer is available during 11am - 5pm on November 11, 2010 at participating Chili’s in the U.S. only. Dine-in from limited menu only; beverages and gratuity not included. Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service.

Hooters – free Wings, Thursday, Nov. 11. Hooter’s is serving up a free wings to military veterans all day on Veterans Day. Offer good for all veterans and active duty military personnel with valid military ID or proof of military service. Drink purchase required.

Uno Chicago Grill, Thursday, Nov. 11. Uno’s is offering a discount of 19.43 percent off your bill. Offer good for all military  for veterans and active duty military. ID or proof of service required: Show up in uniform (if your service permits), provide military ID, show a picture of yourself in uniform, or have other ID showing proof of service

Famous Dave’s – On November 11th locations in Michigan are offering FREE Two Meat Salute - choose two different meats served with corn bread muffin, corn-on-the-cob and your choice of one side.

T.G.I. Friday’s – Buy entree one get one free. At participating locations for anyone with an old or current military ID. November 11-14.

Subway – Many subway locations offer a free six inch sub to military veterans on Veteran’s Day. Please contact your local Subway for more information regarding Veteran’s day specials.
