MJR's Canned Film Festival
It's Back! MJR's Canned Film Festival!Thursday November 10th, MJR is giving FREE admission from 4pm to 10:00pm to anyone that brings in 5 canned goods. This is a great promotion for this time of the year. Sadly, there are so many families who are unemployed and having a hard time right now in Michigan, many are turning to food pantries and help of any kind. Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, let help stock the pantry shelves for those in need!
MJR Digital Cinemas, in conjunction with 93.1 Doug-FM and 96.3 WDVD, will host the Canned Film Festival on Thursday, November 10th 2011. Movie goers are encouraged to bring five cans of food to any MJR Digital Cinema (excluding their Adrian location) and see a movie for free that day only, any time from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. All food donations will benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank. It’s a “win-win” situation to help feed the area’s hungry while getting to see a first-run movie!
96.3 WDVD’s Morning Show, Blaine and Allyson in the Morning, will be broadcasting live from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the MJR Southgate Digital Cinema 20 located at 15651 Trenton Road, Southgate, MI 48195.
