Cranbrook Institue of Science Free First Fridays
Cranbrook Institute of Science offers FREE general admission after 5pm courtesy of MASCO Corporation Foundation on October 7th, 2011 - 5:00pm - 10:00pm
The Cranbrook Institute of Science houses 11 permanent galleries including Our Dyanmic Earth featuring Life Changes Over Time, Ice Ages Come and Go and Mastodons Did Not Survive; Objects of Great Lakes Native America; Woodlands Den; The Motion Gallery; Astronomy Lobby; Mineral Study Gallery; The Story of Us and many many more great gallery exhibits.
There is also a changing exhibition hall, an outdoor science garden, nature trails, a state-of-the-art planetarium, an observatory and a nature center currently leased to the Organization for Bat Conservation. The major overarching theme to the exhibitions is the interconnectedness in nature.
