The Weekend Round-Up Dec 3, 4, & 5

Welcome December, cold and snow in the first few days! Try to keep warm with your little ones this weekend. There's still lots of Holiday Light displays and parades going on, you check can out a few I've listed under Holiday Lights & Parades. Here's whats going going on this weekend.

Noel Night
The 38th annual Noel Night will take place on Saturday, December 4th from 5:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. in Midtown Detroit's Cultural Center Area. Over 45 institutions open their doors to the public free of charge!

Saturday December 4th 10a-9p
Enjoy free general admission all day to the Detroit Science Center as a part of the 38th annual Noel Night in Downtown Detroit.




Santa is Coming to Town!
Santa is coming to the Dearborn Fire Department Fire Safety House on Dec. 3 and 4.
The Fire Safety House is next to Fire Station #2, 19750 Outer Drive, Dearborn MI
Visitors can see Santa arrive on ladder truck at 6 p.m. both nights. Santa will remain at the Fire Safety House until 8 p.m. both nights. And enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and balloons. All proceeds benefit the Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive and help firefighters purchase toys for children in the hospitals.

Santa's Wonderland
Bass Pro Shops Santa's Wonderland is still going on! Now until December 24th visitors can get their picture taken with Santa and receive a free 4x6 print, each weekend children can create a different craft, have fun playing free games, and the first 150 visitors each weekend will receive a free Santa Bandz.

The Knack Family Make-It Take-It Events
This weekend is having the Knack FREE Family Event Santa's Workshop.
Saturday, December 4 Santa's Workshop Ornament make-it take-it 11 am – Noon.
Sunday, December 5 Duck Tape® Luggage Tag make-it take-it 1 pm – 2pm and Tree Ornament make-it take-it 2 pm – 3pm. While supplies last. Ages 3 and up welcome.

Lowe's Build and Grow
Saturday 11/20/2010 from 10am to 11am
Bring the kids into any Lowe's store and build a FREE wooden project. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project. You don't want to miss this clinic! This is part one of a three part Train kit! Come back each weekend in December to build a new piece of the Train!

Home Depot’s Kids Workshops
The Home Depot’s Kids Workshops are FREE and are held on the first Saturday of every month, normally between 9:00am and noon at every Home Depot store. In addition to the project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates’ aprons, and an achievement pin.This weekend the project is a picture frame. Which could be made into a really cute homemade holiday gift!

Every Saturday from 11am to 3pm Lakeshore Learning stores have free crafts fro kids. Come in this Saturday with your child to make a Reindeer Hat



Borders Books Hanukkah Kids Event
