Gosh I'm loving all the FREE events that are happening around town this time of year. If you haven't decided what your doing this weekend either because you think there's not much to do or your money is tight...and whose isn't!? Then you need to check out whats happening around town this weekend! Every Saturday Lakeshore Learning has free crafts for the kids, and they are CUTE! Free craft time is every Saturday from 11:00-3:00.

Great Lake Steamers Live
Come ride the trains at Kiwanis Park! This is the last weekend the trains will be running. The whole family can enjoy free train rides. The kicker to the fun free event is the trains are 1/8 Scale, running on 7.5 inch gauge track. They might be small but everyone enjoys them.
Normal run times from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday & Sunday October 16th and 17th
Special Halloween run from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm Friday & Saturday October 15th & 16th,

Halloween Festival

On Saturday, October 16, children will arrive at Hines Park-Nankin Mills Picnic Area dressed in spook-free costumes for Wayne County Parks’ Halloween Festival 2010.
From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wayne County Parks will offer a FREE afternoon of games and activities, including hayrides, inflatables, costume parade, games and trick-or-treating. In addition to games and activities, this year’s festival will feature performances by Magician Ben Spitzer and Richard Paul’s Ha Ha Halloween Show.
