America's Thanksgiving Pararde

Do you watch the America's Thanksgiving Parade? It's a tradition in our house ever since I was little. One year, when I was in high school I was even it in! Pretty exciting, but very cold that year, that memory is still frozen in my mind.

America’s Thanksgiving Parade®, one of the country’s oldest and most celebrated Parades, will step off at 9:05 a.m. on Woodward Avenue and Mack and end at Woodward Avenue and Congress in downtown Detroit on Thursday, November 24, 2011. This parade draws hundreds of thousands in person as it makes it way down Woodward Avenue and many more gather together at home while waiting for the Thanksgiving dinner to cook. If you like to be downtown with the action and want to start a new tradition with the family, this is where you'll want to be Thanksgiving morning. Watching as the Parade makes its way down Woodward Avenue. The parade will be broadcast LIVE on WDIV Local 4 and on WJR 760 AM.
