For those of you looking for a different type of Halloween event, the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center offers a spook-free Halloween Hike on Friday, October 22. Hike outdoors and meet some funny forest dwellers. Costumed characters relating to nature will both entertain and educate as they share their stories.

Pick from starting times of 6:00, 6:30, 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The hike will last about an hour and afterwards enjoy a short live animal presentation. You must pre-register before the day of the event at Nankin Mills as space is limited. The cost is $4.00 per person.
