Entertainment doesn't come cheap! Before you go and spend big bucks on tickets for that newly released cartoon movie that hit theaters, considering taking the little ones to one of these free shows at the theater. There's nothing worst than spending tons of money for a newly released movie at the theater and having to leave in the middle of the show because the little one is scared of the dark, the movie is too loud, or they just can't sit still and becomes embarrassingly fussy.

Don't forget MJR's Canned Film Festival Tomorrow!

Wednesday, November 14th, MJR is giving FREE admission from 4:00pm to 10:00pm to anyone that brings in 5 canned goods.

This is a great promotion for this time of the year. Sadly, there are so many families who are unemployed and having a hard time right now in Michigan, many are turning to food pantries and help of any kind. Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, let help stock the pantry shelves for those in need!

MJR Digital Cinemas, in conjunction with Krogers, 93.1 Doug-FM, Gleaners Food Bank, WJR, Modernistic, Suburban Buick GMC, CULink and 96.3 WDVD, will host the Canned Film Festival on Wednesday November 14th 2012. Movie goers are encouraged to bring five cans of food to any MJR Digital Cinema (excluding their Adrian location) and see a movie for free that day only, any time from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. All food donations will benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank. It’s a “win-win” situation to help feed the area’s hungry while getting to see a first-run movie!

For more information about the 2012 Canned Film Festival please visit http://www.mjrtheatres.com/ or call your local MJR Digital Cinema.

As a note, these kids film fests take place several time a year and they are usually free or just a $1, so keep an eye out at your local theaters during schools breaks.
