Can you believe it's October 1st already?!

One of the first things that come to mind when I think October is Halloween. Did you know the Detroit Zoo does Halloween? The Detroit Zoo's "merry-not-scary" Zoo Boo features a half mile trick or treat trail.  Entertainment, games, refreshments, rides, movies and more will make for a memorable event.  Bring your camera and your costume clad little one and have fun every weekend starting October 11th. 
Tickets are currently available to Detroit Zoo members only, and go on sale to the general public TODAY, October 1st.

Imagination Movers Are Coming to Detroit!


The Imagination Movers are rocking their way back to Detroit!

My boys love to watch the Imagination Movers on Disney Junior each morning. They enjoy the wacky situations they get themselves into and of course rockin' out to their music in the mornings before heading out to school or a fun-filled day of activities and playdates.

I love the Movers creative solutions and positive motto: "Reach high, think big, work hard, have fun!” So I'm sure you could only imagine my excitement when I found out they were coming back here to Detroit, as part of their 2012 North American concert tour.
The Imagination Movers Rock-O-Matic Tour 2012 is coming to the Detroit Music Hall, October 19th with shows at 3:30pm and 6:30pm.

Disney's Emmy Award-winning Imagination Movers television series, which features the blue-suited band as brainstormers working hard to solve “Idea Emergencies” in their Idea Warehouse, is a hit with audiences around the world, airing in over 55 countries/territories and in 12 languages since September 2008. The wildly popular New Orleans-based rock band for kids of all ages will be playing their most popular songs and bringing the magic of the Imagination Movers television series and the Idea Warehouse with them. Concert goers can expect special appearances from Nina, Warehouse Mouse and other special characters from the TV series.
